When it comes to buying real estate in Costa Rica, you always want to make sure that you are doing your research.  In the last blog, we taught you how to be acknowledged as a resident in Costa Rica and in this blog we will go ahead and go through some tips and tricks of what you should watch out for when you are looking to purchase real estate in Costa Rica.

First and foremost, you want to make sure that you do a whole lot of research.  Costa Rica is expensive and if you are looking at investing some of your retirement funs, you want to make sure that you are actually going to be getting money back on that investment.  This is why research is so important!

Start your research online and then move to the phone making a few calls to different real estate offices.  This will ensure that you will not only find the best possible real estate option for you but it will also ensure that you get the very best price!
