Explore the Volcanoes of Costa Rica
Costa Rica is famous for its vibrant cities, plush rainforests and live volcanoes! San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica, is packed with must-see tourist destinations, one of which is the Teatro Nacional. Several performances are being held each week and paying a visit to this spot gives you a good glimpse of the city’s layout, with its museums and architecture, offering a brief history of Costa Rica.
If you’re more interested on nature and beaches, the town of Cahuita is definitely your place of destination. Located on the Caribbean, Cahuita offers locals and tourists a path to walk through in order to enjoy the lush greens of Costa Rica. There are also wild animals to be seen in the National Park like the blue crabs, sloths, green snakes, and monkeys.
Costa Rica is also famous for its volcanoes. The ones closest to San Jose and Poas are the top volcanoes to see since it is near the city. Volcano Arenal, an active volcano, is also a good pick if you’re willing to travel further. Nighttime is, perhaps, the best time to go and see the volcanoes because the view is breathtaking. Bubbling streams and red-hot rocks fly into the air and come down to the volcano as they quickly break into pieces. The Tabacon Springs, located at the base of Arsenal Volcano, is also a great spot to visit during the day. The warm pools offer a spectacular view.
